Everybody Dance LA
Everybody Dance LA transforms lives and communities through the power of high-quality dance education in low-income areas of Los Angeles. Professional teaching artists, described by the LA Times as “some of the best children’s dance instructors in the world,” bring high quality dance instruction to thousands of youth ages 4-19, instilling high expectations and cultivating the lifelong skills of collaboration, discipline, and self-expression.
After-School program students are all given the opportunity to see live professional dance performances and take master classes with program partners in the Los Angeles dance community.
All students participate in a full-length annual Spring recital performance with professional costumes and lighting.
After-School Enrichment Programs provide students with opportunities to pave the way for college and career. Enrichment programs include a mentorship program, teaching assistant program, student leadership team, the opportunity for students to present their own choreographic works, a Ballet Conservatory program and a performance company.
